I'm trying to convert m3u8 to mp4 on a Mac. I have followed the instructions of a person who does it using VLC in Windows, however I can not find the option in the mac version. Media - Open Network Stream. 1) Copy M3U8 file and then paste its file link to 'm3u8x', can also support to download multiple M3U8 files one time, so you can paste many M3U8 file links to 'm3u8x'. Download and install the latest version of VLC media player. Open VLC media player. Click on “MEDIA” option on the menu bar. Click on “Open Network Stream” option on the drop-down menu. On the 'Open Media' interface, open the 'Network' tab. Paste the M3U8 file address you get from the Http Live Stream page into the blank bar.
